I need lots of color and I need it now. It's almost April and it's still pretty gray and brown outside, although there's been lots of sunshine and the occasional flurry. I can't wait for the red buds to turn the hillsides a soft pink or watch the daffodils to nod in the breeze along the Ohio River. Since I can't get color outside just yet, let's see what colors we can wear to lift spirits.

Lands' End marl sweater | I featured this sweater on Instagram last week and let me warn you: it's highlighter yellow. I haven't been able to find--nor take--a picture that did the color of this sweater justice. If you're craving a serious dose of bright color, this sweater is a great pick. Also? It's currently $19.99, a fantastic price. There's also a lavender version I've considered picking up.

Colorblock dress |  Pink and orange were my signature colors in high school and I still love the combination to this day (my bedding is currently pink and orange, even). The colorblocking and the faux wrap detailing on this dress really make it stand out. I also love the fact it has sleeves, so I don't have to rustle up a blazer or cardigan. This would be a fanastic Easter dress that could also work for the office.

Green one-button blazer | Green and white is another one of my favorite color combinations, it just seems fresh to me. I love the bright green and the shape on this blazer, and it would pair well with the white pants shown above, as well navy or gray.

NYDJ Henley blouse | I'm in a lavender mood and this blouse stood out to me. Lavender is more versatile than people think, for some reason nobody seems to pay it any attention.

Pink eyelet skirt | Eyelet has long been a popular fabric for spring and summer, but there is a massive explosion of it this season. I've seen it in all colors and shapes everywhere, not that it's a bad thing. I really love the hot pink color on this skirt, and yes, I would wear it with the green blazer for a Lilly-esque outfit.
