We are about midway through the summer fashion calendar (Memorial Day through Labor Day). What this really means is that all the tropical print stuff is sale and there will be a sudden abundance of sweaters when you hit the mall at the end of the month. I pulled out some pieces that would be able to transition into early fall.
Old Navy gingham pullover: I've been thinking about picking up a gingham shirt for quite some time. Do note that this is a pullover and not a button-down.

Lands' End linen sweater: This sweater also comes in a ivory/yellow combination. These are great for those days that are hot but turn chilly once the sun goes down.

Vince Camuto Empa Flats: From the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, these pointy flats come in four colors, including a gorgeous rich brown. They also come in sizes from 4 to 12, including 10.5 and 11.5, a size I don't think I've ever seen before. Oh, and they're under $70, which can't be beat.

Michael Kors Skorpios bag: On sale at $665, this is the type of bag I dream about. The braided detail runs across the handle and around the rest of the bag. I'm still on the hunt for the perfect brown leather bag and I'd take this one in a heartbeat, if it wouldn't kill my clothes budget for the rest of the year.

Lauren Ralph Lauren colorblock dress: Just a really nice dress for work. Pair with a white blazer now, pair with a gray blazer after Labor Day (yes, I do follow those rules to an extent).
