About two weeks ago or so I had cleaned out a bit of my wardrobe while doing four loads of laundry (New Year's Resolution: not kept). I've also been going through my accessories and have gotten rid of probably 60-70% of them. It's a style area I've long neglected. I couldn't wear jewelry to my job for the past five years due to safety issues so I maybe had a handful of cheap scarves and costume jewelry. I threw it all out because it was falling apart or just looked bad. I can replace them for not a lot of coin which means more cash into the house fund.

Plus size preppy accessories

Row One//
Leather clip-on bow// I love this so much. Like the name says, it's just a simple clip-on bow that would add so much to a OCBD or a simple tee. However, this one is from Saint Laurent and costs a few hundred dollars. I'm pretty confident I can make this with ribbon or any other material I choose.
Phone case// I like phone cases as much as the next person but for the life of me I hate paying for them. These silicon cases from J.Crew Factory are colorful and are under $20 with shipping.
Infinity scarf// The colors on this scarf would go well with 80% of my closet.

Row Two//
Anchor necklace// A bit of a rustic take on the traditional anchor necklace.
Flat booties// I've been alternating my Sebagos and Wallabees for most of the winter, but I think these flat booties would be a much more stylish choice.
Fish hook necklace// In the same vein as the anchor necklace, it's a unique look for a delicate necklace.

Row Three//
Burberry polish// Pinks are probably my favorite polish color and this color straight from Burberry's Spring/Summer 2014 runway would be right at home in my collection.
Matte palette// I'm not a fan of sparkle in makeup. This palette contains several eyeshadows, blush, and liner making it perfect to toss in my bag when I'm running late for work.
Essie polish// This peach polish looks like a nice way of incorporating color into my otherwise muted winter palette.
